All the above courses run inline with the approved code of practice for rider operated lift trucks (L117) they include training and 3 assessments (pre-use machine check, theoretical assessment, practical assessment), specific training conducted on a case by case basis.

An introduction into manual handling, current regulations, spinal anatomy, lifting/lower/pushing/pulling/carrying & practical assessment

Abrasive Wheels
An introduction into abrasive wheels, current regulations, types and specifications, use of abrasive wheels (theoretical), changing wheels, dressing wheels & theoretical assessment

Behavioural Safety for Managers
Introduction into behavioural safety, behaviour awareness (antecedents and consequences), case study, student study('homework') & student presentation
** 2 Day course up to 8 candidates with 1-2 week gap in-between for data collection
Stress Management
An introduction to human stress, stress and behaviour, identifying stress, stress management techniques & case studies

Risk Assessment Writing
Course introduction & current legislation, identifying and analysing generic risk's, identifying and analysing specific risks, managing risk, probability & harm (consequence). Written assessment
